The Magician has all of the elements at his command, seems to be able to bend space-time to his will, and though you may actually be able to trust him, the power at his disposal has a tendancy to corrupt. Caution is imperative when dealing with this energy.
Should this card's position in your spread be self descriptive, then it is you whom possesses a great deal of influence and are warned of the karmic repercussions that go along with it. Likewise, be careful not to neglect any elemental factors while considering your next move.
Also, as the Magician doesn't necessarily always have to define the qualities of a particular individual, any new circumstance one encounters should be very closely monitored for unusual events that appear to have been either targeted, or similarly pointed, to affect the advancement of someone's agenda.
Finally, when this card is indicative of a learning environment, or any place in which lot of experimentation and cerebral manipulation is taking place, it is the most fortunate interpretation of this card. Of course, you never want to completely give yourself over to the will of another, but being able to remain objective while drinking in the knowledge and information available to you at this point in time can yield some of the most rewarding memories you'll have the opportunity to obtain.
